I like to take photos during my journeys to various places, particularly through the window of a train or car, where the motion is somewhat blurred, the markings on the windows are etched into the final image and the frame of the window can in turn frame the picture.

What you're seeing rush passed you may be the first time you've ever seen it. It's hard to recapture those first impressions, the reaction you initially had to what you saw. I try to capture this with my camera. I can then be transported back to that journey at any time, remembering the emotion and anticipation of what the destination ahead may hold.
